Bed-Stuy Residence

The goal of this townhouse renovation was to reconfigure the ground floor living area, creating space for a growing family. A wood-clad media room sits at the center of the space, connecting the living area and kitchen. The media room itself offers both places to be productive as well as places to rest. It can be opened up as people pass through, or it can be closed off with sliding wood doors when a project is underway. Designed as a quiet space for the family to share, the media room aims to bring the family closer as it grows and evolves over time.
