Fall 2016 @ BU
I’m looking forward to teaching the Intro to Design and Representation course at Boston University’s College of Visual Arts in the fall. It’s an elective within the Architectural Studies Major, and it’s the first time the students get to create drawings and solve design problems from scratch. It will be the fourth semester I’ve taught the studio and I’ve been fine-tuning the curriculum each time. Below is a photo from last semester’s final review, which took place in the 808 Gallery, a former Chrysler dealership from the 1920’s. What a great venue! Each semester the students surprise me with their creativity and the unique perspectives they bring to their work, and I’m sure next semester will be no different.
