Working with CNC routers in the past has been a great way to think about precision and geometry in a very new way. Building furniture by hand gets super tricky as the geometry gets more complex, and inevitably the measurements slip. Removing (some) of the constraints of in terms of hand measuring dimensions would kind of be a dream come true. Might there be a new CNC router in the shop’s future? Diving into the CNC rabbit-hole has been very interesting, so we’ll see where it leads.
